Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install vercel-headers-regions-rule

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

Cursor configures vercel.json for security headers (nosniff, X-Frame-Options, Referrer-Policy, etc.), sets the function region when data location matters, and splits work between Edge functions (checks, redirects) and Node.js (database access, heavy computation).
