The PalateKit resources that work in Claude Code, where they install and how Claude Code uses them.
$ npx --yes palatekit@latest install palatekit-motion --agent claude-code Installed in ~/.claude/skills/palatekit-motion/
Skills go in ~/.claude/skills/. DESIGN.md files, templates, prompts and rules install in the current project; their page says where.

Audit my site's home page with landing-page-audit and rank the fixes by impact.
With pitch-deck-builder, turn notes.md into a 12-slide deck and export it to PDF.
Check index.html with accessibility-audit at level AA and fix the contrast issues.
Claude Code reads skills as folders: a SKILL.md file that describes the job, sometimes with templates, references or scripts. PalateKit resources follow that format, in French and in English.
Once installed, a skill costs almost nothing until it is needed: Claude Code only reads its description, then loads the rest when your request matches.
Paste this prompt into Claude Code once: it connects PalateKit. Each resource page then gives its own install prompt.
Read https://palatekit.com/en/install/agent.md and follow the instructions to connect PalateKit.
Download the ZIP from the resource page and unzip it into ~/.claude/skills/.
From a terminal, with Node.js 22 or later:
npx --yes palatekit@latest install palatekit-motion --agent claude-code
| PalateKit resource | Rules file (CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md) | |
|---|---|---|
| Loading | On demand, when the request matches | Every session |
| Content | One specific job, with its files | The project's general rules |
| Scope | Reusable across all your projects | One project |
| Sharing | Installed in one command | Copied by hand |
In ~/.claude/skills/ for all your sessions, or in .claude/skills/ at the root of a project for that project only.
It reads the short description of every installed skill and loads the full skill when your request matches it.
They install in the current project: a DESIGN.md at the root, a prompt as a Markdown file, a rule in its own folder. Each resource page says where.
No: installing copies files and runs nothing. Any scripts only run if Claude Code starts them during a task.
If the skill does not show up in the current session, start a new one.
For skills, yes: only the folder changes, and each agent page gives its own. For rules, agents and hooks, the resource page lists the compatible agents.
