Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install text-match-cut

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent sets up an editing-style match cut: both lines ride the same easing curve and swap at the fastest instant, with no crossfade. It picks the move (zoom in or out, letter tracking, slide in four directions), the background and the gradient bar. You get a 3 second transition for a title or a hook.

Frequently asked questions

Can the duration be changed?

Yes. The move takes 2 seconds and the text then holds; if the total duration is shorter, the phases compress together.

Can it sit over a video?

Yes. With the background variable set to transparent, the scene under the component stays visible.
