Terms of use and sale

Purpose and acceptance

These terms govern the use of palatekit.com, its command-line tool and the purchase of the resources and plans offered there. The site is published by PalateKit, 61 rue de Lyon, 75012 Paris (see the legal notice). Creating an account or buying means accepting these terms in the version in force on that day; that version is recalled in the confirmation email of each purchase.

The service

PalateKit is a catalog of resources for coding and creative agents: skills, prompts (text, image, video), motion design templates, DESIGN.md files, rules, agents and hooks. Some are free, some are paid, some are reserved for Pro members; some are only indexed, with a link to their source. Each resource is delivered as a ZIP file, in French or English, and text resources can also be copied.

Account and command-line tool

Downloading or copying a resource, even a free one, requires an account. You are responsible for keeping your password private and for the devices you authorize in the command-line tool; you can close your sessions, remove a device or delete your account at any time from your settings. An account is personal: it may not be shared or resold.

Plans

• Free resources: available to every account.
• Single purchase: one premium resource, at the price shown on its page; access is permanent as long as the resource stays in the catalog (see "Availability").
• Monthly or yearly subscription (Pro): access to every premium and members resource for the duration of the subscription, renewed automatically at each term.
• Pro lifetime: the same access, with no end date and no renewal, for a one-time payment.

The catalog changes over time: resources are added, updated or withdrawn.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euros on the French pages and in US dollars on the English pages, all taxes included, on the pricing page and on each resource page. Payment is collected by Stripe through Link, which may convert the amount into your currency and sends you receipts and invoices; PalateKit remains your seller. The price paid is the one shown when you order; a price change applies to a subscription only from its next term, after prior notice.

Right of withdrawal

• Single purchase: before paying, you ask for immediate access to the digital content and acknowledge losing your right of withdrawal (article L221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code); this request appears in the confirmation email.
• Subscription and lifetime access: you may withdraw within 14 days of the purchase, without giving a reason, from the "Withdraw from the contract here" page in your settings (also linked in the confirmation email), or by writing to us with the model form attached to that email. Access ends at once. We refund, to the payment method used and within 14 days, the price paid minus the part already used: for a subscription, the whole days elapsed in the paid period; for lifetime access, the single-resource price of the page you bought from for each distinct paid resource downloaded or copied since the purchase ($4.99 on the English pages, €4.49 on the French pages; converted at the same rate if Link collected another currency), never more than the price paid.

An acknowledgement is sent to you by email.

Cancellation and renewal

You can end a subscription at any time from the "Cancel your contract" page in your settings: it ends at the end of the period already paid, with no new charge, and you keep access until then. For the yearly subscription, we remind you of the renewal by email between three months and one month before the term. You can also switch from monthly to yearly in the billing portal.

Refunds, payment incidents and disputes

Apart from withdrawal and legal guarantees, amounts paid are not refunded. A declined payment keeps access open until the end of the period already paid; after that, access is suspended. A full refund or a payment dispute (chargeback) removes the corresponding access, restored if the dispute is resolved in our favor. A duplicate charge is refunded as soon as it is reported to us.

License and permitted use

A resource you have access to may be used, modified and included in your personal and professional projects, including for clients. You may not resell it, redistribute it as is or in another catalog, or publish it freely. For a resource derived from openly licensed content (CC0, MIT, Apache-2.0, CC-BY), you keep every right granted by the original license, shown with the author, the source and the "modified by PalateKit" notice on its page and in the ZIP; only our additions (translation, fixes, tests) fall under the license described here. Resources that are only indexed remain under their author's license.

Content posted by users

Your reviews and resource requests must be accurate, respectful and free of third parties' personal data. You allow us to display your reviews on the resource page, with your name or anonymously as you choose. We may hide a review that breaks these rules.

Prohibited uses

You may not scrape the catalog or the content of resources, get around access limits (100 content accesses per day and per account), share an account, test the site's security without written permission, or use the service to break the law or infringe others' rights. Such uses may lead to the account being suspended.

Availability, updates and withdrawal

We do our best to keep the site available, without being able to guarantee it at all times. A resource may be updated; the latest version is always the one delivered. A resource may be withdrawn from the catalog, in particular after a well-founded takedown request; you then keep the last version you downloaded. Anyone can report content with the takedown form; a well-founded request is handled within 72 business hours.

Legal guarantees

Liability

Resources are tools for artificial intelligence agents: check what they produce before using it. Except in case of fault on our part, we are not liable for indirect damage, nor for costs charged by third-party services (model providers, APIs) that you choose to use. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you hold under the law.

Mediation, applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. If you run into a problem, please write to us first at contact@palatekit.com. If no solution is found, you may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator: À compléter (À compléter). A consumer may bring a claim, at their choice, before the court of the place where they lived when ordering or where the damage occurred.

Changes and contact

We may change these terms; the new version applies to orders placed after it is published, and to a running subscription from its next term after notice by email. Contact: contact@palatekit.com.
