Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install agent-task-handoff

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent picks the recipient's profile from its notes, then writes a self-contained briefing: task, context, relevant files, current state, attempts already made, decisions, acceptance criteria and constraints. The recipient starts from zero and must be able to work alone.
