Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install ai-model-calls-netlify-gateway

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent uses the provider's official SDK in a function or edge function, instantiated with no arguments because the gateway injects credentials. It sets the variables, streaming for long replies and troubleshooting for 401 errors. You get a model call that works in production without any exposed key.
