Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install animated-chart-video

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent builds a frame-driven chart in Remotion: bars that change rank, eased values, formatted counters and annotations at the right moment. It checks the numbers on still frames before encoding, then can render one video per data file.

Frequently asked questions

Can I trust the numbers?

Every value is computed from the frame and formatted with Intl.NumberFormat; the skill requires checking stills before encoding.

Can numbers be shown in French format?

Yes, replace the "en-US" locale with "fr-FR" in the formatting.
