Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install animated-gif-screen-demos

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent captures the frames of an interaction, sets their timing and assembles them into a GIF with imageio. It adds fade-in annotations and paces the demo so it stays readable. The build can be written as a script and rerun to test the animation.
