Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install api-contract-compatibility-tests

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent classifies an API change (field, endpoint, schema, error format) as breaking or compatible, then builds a test matrix on the provider and client sides. It checks wire-level behavior rather than relying on a successful build. You get a compatibility report and the tests to add.
