Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install api-credential-security-basics

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent sets up credential storage in environment variables or a secret manager, a .gitignore rule and a pre-commit hook that blocks keys. It also adds input validation and audit logging. You get an integration with no secrets in the code.
