Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install api-error-response-contract

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent proposes an error structure, maps it to HTTP status codes and adds frontend handling: a fetch wrapper, TypeScript types and React Query. You get a shared error contract and messages that are usable in the UI.
