Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install api-key-management-design

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent sets the key format with prefix and checksum, the storage model, rotation with a dual-key overlap, and least-privilege scopes. It also covers key ownership, revocation when someone leaves and the self-service dashboard. You get a specification in which a lost or orphaned key stays a contained event.
