Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install architecture-decision-records-4

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent picks the format by the weight of the decision, then writes the context, the decision, its consequences and the alternatives set aside. Accepted decisions are never edited: a new entry supersedes the old one. You get a durable record that outlasts the chat.
