Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install article-highlight-insert

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent first asks for the format (4:3 or 9:16) and background, then builds an editorial paper card in Remotion with highlights drawn one after the other. The skill enforces a restrained look with no neon or glow, plus a pre-delivery checklist. You get an MP4 with its duration and the render command.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need the other skills it mentions?

They are recommended (remotion-best-practices, motion-graphics, cinematic-camera) but not required: this one describes the expected result on its own. It assumes a Remotion project is already set up.

Can I change the highlight color?

Yes, as long as it stays muted and semi-transparent. Fluorescent colors and any light effect are banned by the skill.
