Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install ast-grep-structural-search-replace

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent writes ast-grep patterns that match a code shape, such as a function signature or a call with a given argument count, then previews the rewrite before applying it. You get the matches found and a controlled rewrite across several files.
