Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install author-understanding-check

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent asks the author Socratic questions about the change, then has an independent judge assess the answers. It records an artifact stating whether understanding is sufficient, within a limited number of retries. You get a verdict and a saved trace.
