Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install aws-ec2-instances-autoscaling

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent helps choose the instance type, launches an instance with IMDSv2 required and a bootstrap script, then sets up AMIs, launch templates and Auto Scaling groups. You get AWS CLI commands ready to run, and the EC2 operations reference in references/ec2-operations.md.
