Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install aws-profile-region-discovery-3

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent reads the local AWS configuration and environment variables to determine the active profile, region, credentials and account. It reports missing profiles and returns the identity. You get a verified AWS context to reuse during the session.
