Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install aws-secrets-rotation

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent creates and updates secrets in AWS Secrets Manager, as JSON or binary, with custom KMS encryption. It reads specific versions, configures rotation for RDS and checks IAM permissions, limited to the actions needed. You get AWS CLI commands ready to review.
