Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install backend-smoke-testing

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent detects the project stack, finds the port and health endpoint, logs in if the API requires authentication, then calls the main routes and checks the responses. You get a verification report and the logs to check when something fails.
