Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install bare-metal-gpio-config

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent helps you set a pin's mode, map it to an alternate function such as USART or SPI, enable a pull resistor and trigger an EXTI interrupt on an edge. It also gives the equivalents for nRF52 and ESP32.
