Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install behavior-preserving-refactoring-3

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent defines the scope, audits the code, then applies changes one at a time. The test suite is the contract: it must be green before and after each change. A file with no tests first gets the missing tests, since no split can be verified otherwise.
