Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install bim-cad-model-takeoff

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent imports the model or plan, walks through the elements, bulk-links them to bill-of-quantities lines and passes the quantities to the estimate. You get a takeoff drawn from the model, with no retyping.
