Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install browser-media-duration-dimensions

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent uses Mediabunny to read a media file's metadata in the browser: duration in seconds of an audio or video, width and height of a video. You get the code that reads these values before any upload or processing.
