Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install build-vault-passage-search

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent builds a search index derived from the wiki folder, stored in .vault-meta, then queries it for passages. Semantic reranking is optional: without consent for remote calls, it falls back to a deterministic ranking. Canonical notes never change.
