In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install canvas-graphics-dataviz

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent analyzes the need, recommends a rendering technology (Canvas 2D, SVG or WebGL) with its rationale, then implements and polishes the graphic. It relies on code patterns, decision tables, and accessibility and performance rules. You get a responsive, accessible and smooth visualization.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know D3.js?

No. The agent picks the technology and writes the code; D3.js is only used when it brings a real gain.

Does the skill depend on other skills?

No. The integration table names neighbouring skills as suggestions, but they are not required.
