In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install changelog-draft-from-git

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent reads the git log between two tags, groups the changes and produces a layered draft with a status summary. It refuses a dirty working tree unless you ask to keep only committed changes.
