Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install claude-api-local-dev-loop

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent prepares a local project for the Anthropic API: environment variables kept out of the repository, a test script, hot reload and a mock client for unit tests. You get a fast environment and a cost tip for each iteration.
