Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install claude-code-braintrust-tracing

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent sets up automatic sending of Claude Code conversations to Braintrust, with a root trace per session, one per turn and one per tool call. It configures the environment variables and checks that traces appear. You get a full view of your coding sessions.
