Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install claude-code-mcp-configuration

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent adds an MCP server, sets its transport and authentication, and edits the .mcp.json file. It explains the difference between tools, resources and prompts, and helps diagnose a failed connection. You avoid loading unnecessary tools into the context.
