Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install claude-extended-thinking-config

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent configures extended thinking according to the model: adaptive thinking on current models, a token budget or effort levels. It also explains the streaming required for large max_tokens values. You get a setup matched to the complexity of the task.
