Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install claude-md-and-rules-authoring

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent creates or updates a project's CLAUDE.md and its rule files in .claude/rules/, recording conventions, architecture decisions and gotchas that the code does not show. It leaves out generic advice and separates rules that apply only to certain paths.
