Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install claude-skill-authoring-reference

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent follows the reference to write or change a Claude Code skill: description, invocation, allowed tools, context, execution mode and paths, plus content substitutions and dynamic context injection. It loads the reference before any change to a skill file. You get a SKILL.md that matches the format.
