Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install claude-tool-use-functions

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent defines tools with JSON Schema, processes tool_use blocks in the response, runs the function and returns the result to Claude in a loop that handles errors. You get working agent code. Anthropic offers no embeddings API, so vector search needs a separate embedding model.
