Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install cmdb-asset-discovery-enablement

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent checks the feature status, enables it after confirmation, verifies the result with a read, then assigns the IT Service Discovery Manager permission set and its license to the user. It is the final layer of the CMDB setup. You get asset discovery active and accessible.
