Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install code-block-provenance-explanation

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent finds the latest change touching a line range or a pasted snippet, then links each relevant commit to its checkpoint. It explains the reason for each block with the context available. You get the provenance of the code and the reasons behind its changes.
