Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install code-intent-explanation

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent traces a function, file or line of code back to the original conversation, to explain the problem it solved and the need behind it. When no trace exists, it says so. You get a sourced explanation of the intent.
