Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install code-simplification-refactor

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent reads the code, works out why it is written that way, then applies simplifications that keep the same behaviour: less indirection, clearer names, flatter logic. It follows project conventions and stays within the changed scope. You get more readable code and justified changes.
