Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install codebase-as-is-documentation

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent launches several sub-agents that explore the code for your question, then gathers their findings into a faithful description of the current state. You get documentation that proposes no improvements or diagnoses unless you ask for them.
