Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install codec-capability-reconciliation

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent queries the APIs read-only, cross-checks the results with an authenticated NVIDIA sample and the applicable documentation, then gives a support verdict. It notes that the skill covers only hardware encode and decode of media you supply, not protected streams.
