Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install commit-message-rewrite

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent reads the diff and the supplied context, then writes a subject of 72 characters at most, with a body when the subject cannot carry it. It removes filler phrasing and keeps Conventional Commits format. You get a direct, specific message.
