Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install contract-review-redline

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent reads the contract, identifies the parties and agreement type, then checks it across 8 categories: payment, liability, termination, intellectual property, scope, non-compete, confidentiality and operations. You get a severity-ranked summary quoting each clause, explaining the issue simply and proposing alternative wording, plus a negotiation playbook and a redlined DOCX.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to connect Gmail or DocuSign?

No. An attached file or pasted text is enough; connectors are only used when you provide nothing. The shared files of the original repository are not required for the method.

Do the clause benchmarks apply outside the US?

The benchmarks (payment terms, caps) are general and US-flavored. Have the red flags checked by a lawyer in your country.
