Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install contributor-onboarding-guide

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent creates a GROOVE.md file at the project root with the project's configuration values. If CONTRIBUTING.md exists, it adds a section linking to this guide. The document explains which commands to run, where logs live and what the compound loop expects.
