Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install conventional-commit-messages-5

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

After code changes, the agent writes a conventional-format commit message with a title under 72 characters and a high-level bulleted body. It asks for your confirmation before committing and does not use force push or the -n flag unless you explicitly request it.
