Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install conversation-handoff-document-5

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent writes a handoff document that summarizes the conversation, links to existing specs, plans and commits instead of copying them, and suggests the skills the next agent should invoke. It removes keys, passwords and personal data, then saves the note to the system's temporary directory. You get a note to paste into a new session.
