Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install convex-agent-chat-rag

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent installs the agent component, defines the agent and its tools that call queries and mutations, creates threads, streams replies and adds vector search for RAG. The central rule is that every model call runs inside an action, never a mutation.
