Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install cross-host-agent-federation

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent creates the node identity, pins trusted peers by their key, then syncs rooms in pull mode: each host publishes to its own room and peers read it. Every message is signed and verified. Work claims stop two nodes from doing the same task. Transport is HTTP, with no private network required.
