Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install css-native-animations

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent chooses between native CSS and a library, then writes scroll-driven animations, View Transitions, @starting-style entrances and anchor positioning. It adds the fallbacks needed for browsers that don't support everything.

It was verified on September 8, 2026. Re-check version numbers before relying on them.

What is the VERSIONS.md file it mentions?

The skill points to a version-tracking file in its original repository, which is not included here. The rest works without it.
