Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install custom-report-type-metadata

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent defines the primary object, the related objects and their inner or outer join, then writes the reportType-meta.xml file. It applies the rules on field names and relationship paths. You get a report type ready to deploy for users who build reports.
