Install with the CLI

In a terminal, from the folder you want:

npx --yes palatekit@latest install cve-vulnerability-lookup-cli

With no option, the skill goes to ~/.agents/skills/; add --agent claude-code (or codex, cursor…) to target an agent.

First time: connect the CLI with

npx --yes palatekit@latest login

The agent queries the NVD database through the nvd-pp-cli command to find CVEs by keyword, product name (CPE), identifier or date range, and returns CVSS scores, affected versions and severity. You get a sourced vulnerability list. The skill also states when not to use the CLI.
